In The Heritage Project, our goal has always been to bring warmth and character to a new build that started as a blank canvas. The kitchen—bright, open, and brand new—had beautiful bones, but like many new builds, it felt a little too perfect. Too polished. Too sterile.
We wanted to change that.

In this kitchen, we started by swapping out the standard hardware for aged gold door handles that instantly gave the cabinetry a softer, more classic feel. To tie it all together, we carried that same finish into the aged gold sink—a subtle, unexpected touch that completely transformed the tone of the room.
The Power of Lighting & Layered Details
Lighting is one of the easiest ways to bring personality into a new space, and in the Heritage Project Kitchen, we went with stunning statement fixtures that add both function and beauty. They draw the eye up and balance the warmth of the hardware with a little sparkle—perfect for this modern-yet-classic home.
And because no kitchen is complete without the right seating, we finished the look with perfectly proportioned bar stools that bring texture, tone, and livability to the island. A few final styling moments—beautiful dishware, art, and natural elements—made the whole space feel lived-in and loved.
