For the Heritage Project office, we wanted to design something that broke away from the light, airy tones used throughout the rest of the home. This space called for contrast, personality, and a little bit of edge.

The result? A dark and moody home office that feels equal parts sophisticated and cool.

Designing with Mood and Intention

We leaned into deep, saturated tones and layered textures to give the office depth and warmth. The dark walls create an instant sense of calm — that cozy, tucked-away feeling that makes you want to stay awhile. To keep it from feeling too heavy, we balanced the richness with warm wood, aged metals, and just the right amount of light.

Every detail, from the statement desk to the curated art and lighting, was chosen to make the room feel collected, intentional, and personal. It’s a space that looks just as good during a productive workday as it does during a quiet evening with a good book.
