Looking Back at 2025 with House Sprucing

As another year comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to look back at the projects, collaborations, and experiences that shaped 2025 for House Sprucing. This year was one of growth, creativity, and meaningful connection—both with our clients and within our own team. Here are the highlights that made 2025 unforgettable.

The Lake House Remodel Finished

After months of planning, designing, refining, and patiently waiting, the Lake House remodel finally reached the finish line this year. And it quickly became the heart of our 2025.

Not only was it one of our most personal projects to date, but it also became a space where our family and team gathered throughout the year—sharing meals, brainstorming sessions, and quiet moments by the water. Walking through those rooms now and seeing them lived in brings us so much joy. The Lake House represents House Sprucing’s heart and our philosophy of joyful, intentional living. It is a true House Sprucing home where we bring in seasonal decor, live life, and create memories. It really reflects the intentional living we aim to bring into every space we design.This project will always hold a special place in the House Sprucing story.

Our Rugs Direct Launch with Jaipur Living

Another major milestone of 2025: our European inspired rug collection with Jaipur Living became available on Rugs Direct. 

This collection was born from our love for European design from our time living in Europe together, our long-lasting design inspiration from Europe, and our love of old-world textiles. Seeing these designs become available on this platform has been so meaningful!

Design Trends Panel at Dallas Market

In January, we had the honor of speaking on the Design Trends Panel at Dallas Market, sharing insights alongside talented voices in the industry. Discussing future aesthetics, client needs, and the direction of design energized us at the perfect moment—right as the year was beginning.

Guest Appearance on BOH’s Trade Tales Podcast

Another highlight was joining Business of Home’s “Trade Tales” podcast to talk about the behind-the-scenes of running a design studio—the challenges, the pivots, the lessons, and the heart behind what we do.

It was such a meaningful experience to reflect on our journey and share the story that fuels the work you see on the front end. We’re grateful for every person who listened, reached out, or connected with our story afterward.

Incredible remote projects

We love working on remote projects and getting to be a part of dream homes all over the country. We have a very special one in Jupiter, Florida, and one in Arizona that we can’t wait to show you next year.

Each project was an incredible opportunity to showcase our design expertise and creativity, leading to some of our most rewarding design moments of the year as a team. There are countless projects we worked on this year that we weren’t able to photograph or feature, and we are so grateful for every single client and project we had the privilege of working on at House Sprucing.
