What Really Happens on Install Day
When people see the final reveal of a beautifully designed home, they usually see the finished product—the perfectly styled shelves, the fluffed pillows, the fresh flowers, and furniture that looks like it was always meant to be there.
What they don't see is everything that happens before that moment.
Install day is one of our favorite parts of the entire design process. It's the day months of planning finally come together, and our clients get to watch their vision become reality.
It Starts Long Before We Arrive
By the time install day rolls around, we've already spent weeks (and often months) designing every detail of the space.
We've measured rooms, created furniture layouts, selected finishes, sourced pieces from our trusted vendors, tracked deliveries, and carefully planned how everything will come together.
Nothing on install day is random. Every piece has a purpose, and every decision has already been made.
Our Warehouse Team Gets Everything Ready
Before a single truck is loaded, every item is unpacked and inspected in our warehouse.
We check furniture for any damage, make sure everything we ordered has arrived, and organize pieces so installation day runs as smoothly as possible.
It's one of those behind-the-scenes steps that most people never think about, but it makes a huge difference.
Then the Transformation Begins
Once we're at the home, our team gets to work.
Furniture is placed according to the floor plan we've created, rugs are positioned, and every room starts taking shape.
At this stage, it can still look a little unfinished—and that's completely normal.
The magic happens in the next step.
Styling Makes a House Feel Like Home
This is where we have the most fun.
Books are stacked. Decorative objects are layered. Pillows are adjusted (more than once!). Greenery is added, throws are draped, and those small finishing touches begin to bring warmth and personality into the space.
These details may seem small on their own, but together they're what make a home feel inviting, lived in, and complete.
